(Im)migration is a natural pattern of human existence. Our ability to move and adapt to different environments means that for centuries humans actively sought for a better place to live — whether that better is about access to resources, safety, or opportunity. When we move into a new culture, our thinking changes, too. We question both our country of origin and our new home, often coming to more nuanced understandings of both.
