Empathy skills are so important for students to learn and practise. I’m delighted to be an ambassador for the Empathy School Award and I look forward to meeting the amazing young people and teachers involved.

Our school took part in the Bronze Empathy School Award. We found both the students and teachers really benefited from the activities. It created a culture of care within the class. We are now working towards our Silver award!

Sr Liz Smyth, Principal, St Dominic’s College Ballyfermot

Change starts with education, and by giving our young people the right opportunities. That’s why we developed this award. Our hope is that it provides a valuable and timely offering for schools. I’ve seen first-hand how this work brings benefits to staff and students.
